British Columbia and Manitoba invited more provincial immigration candidates this week through their Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). The Skilled Worker category is for overseas workers with post-secondary education or training and related experience in B.C.'s professional, management, technical, trade, or other skilled occupations. Job must be skill level 0, 1, or 2 under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities (TEER) matrix.
Skilled Worker category applicants need a full-time, permanent job offer in a skilled occupation from a British Columbia business. If the job offer is in a regulated occupation that requires certification, applicants must meet the provincial criteria. Full-time paid co-op work placements with an NOC level equal to or higher than the employment offer count as work experience.
