Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)

Alberta has it all: towering mountains and sparkling city towers, dinosaur bones and oil pumps, the peace of the river valley, the hoof beat clatter and cowpoke whoop of a chuck wagon race. It has vast natural resources, based on a which several industries thrive in the province. Home to two of Canada’s largest cities – Calgary and Edmonton – it is the most populated prairie province of the country.

Alberta’s provincial nominee program is called AINP (Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program). Successful candidates, post nomination by the province will receive the Alberta Provincial Nomination Certificate. The processing timelines are much faster compared to other Canadian immigration programs once the applicant receives the province’s nomination certificate. Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) consists of 5 immigration streams. They are:
  • Alberta Express Entry Stream
  • Alberta Employer-Driven Stream
  • Alberta Opportunity Stream
  • Alberta Strategic Recruitment Stream
  • Alberta Self-Employed Farmer Stream
Each of these programs have been designed to meet the province’s need of having a strong workforce to meet its growing demands. To know more about these immigration streams, contact us.

Apart from the above streams, the province also offers business immigration options wherein persons with business interests or ideas in the province may apply for permanent residency along with their family members (spouse or common-law partner as well as dependents).
