Thoroughly read all the questions before the recording for any part begins. This will make it easier to follow the recordings and find answers.

  • Keep in mind the word restrictions: please keep in mind the word restrictions. If an instruction states, “Write no more than two words,” follow it. If you write more than the specified limit, you may receive no scores for your attempted answer.
  • Keep an eye out for any important words or synonyms: pay close attention and keep an eye out for any important words or synonyms in the question. This may aid in finding an answer.
  • Skip it and move on: if you are having problems answering a question, skip it and move on. Don’t linger over it. Come back to it later if you have time.
  • Double-check word forms, plurals, and spelling: it’s crucial to double-check word forms, plurals, and spelling. Keep in mind that only answers that are properly written are eligible for scores.
  • Write something in the answers box: even if you don’t know the answer, it’s best to write something in the answers box because you won’t lose marks for giving a wrong response. Reread the question and attempt a good guess!
