The Ontario’s provincial nominee program is called Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). Successful candidates, post nomination by the province, will receive a Provincial Nomination Certificate from Ontario.

Like many of its peers, OINP is a fast-track application category. Which means, applications made under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program have less processing timelines compared to other regular immigration categories. Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) consists of 4 immigration streams. They are:

  • Ontario Express Entry Stream
  • Ontario General Category/Employer Job Offer Category
  • Ontario Business Category
  • Ontario International Student Category

The Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) has been assigned by Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) for the Entrepreneur Pilot program for 2 years. The Entrepreneur Pilot, which is a part of 2021 Ontario Economic Outlook and Fiscal Review: Build Ontario, support 100 immigrant innovators to develop and build businesses outside of the Greater Toronto Area. The services and capital these enterprises generate will help to support the regions [financial] rebuilding from pandemic. The TBDC is collaborating with Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) to build and deploy the Entrepreneur Pilot program.
