Being one of the populous provinces of Canada, Ontario boasts vibrant multiculturalism, varied landscape & numerous opportunities. Ontario is one of the most preferred destinations for migrants from all over the world. The province has issued Notifications of Interest (NOIs) for selected professions, under the “Tech Draw”, through Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream.

In the scenario where candidates cannot provide proof of employment in one of the acceptable NOC codes, their application may be rejected. If the candidate has received a notification of interest, approaching the program is not essential.
The province’s mechanism for regulating economic immigration is known as the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). They work with the Canadian government in collaboration with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Overseas employees, foreign students, and individuals with the required education, training, and experience submit nomination requests to the OINP. The OINP identifies and nominates individuals for permanent residency who possess the skills and knowledge needed by the Ontario economy, but the Government of Canada retains final authority to approve those applications.
Express Entry is an electronic selection system used by the Federal as well as Provincial governments of Canada [to select], as well as designated Canadian employers [to nominate] candidates for Canadian permanent residence under three of its popular economic [skilled] immigration programs:
Candidates eligible for any of the above programs are given a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in the Express Entry Pool. It is based on their Core/Human capital factors such as age, work experience, education, and language ability in English and/or French, etc. And, based on scores, candidates are periodically invited (or nominated) for permanent residence.
