A new draw that was held through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has issued a total of 82 invitations through the Tech Pilot stream of the B.C Express Entry and Skills Immigration categories. The invited candidates were from the skilled worker and international graduate subcategories having a minimum provincial score of 80.

The Tech Pilot program of the BC PNP is a fast-track provincial nominee program for in-demand tech workers and international students. Applying candidates need to be registered in one of British Columbia’s existing provincial immigration streams and need to have a valid job offer of at least 12 months.

The Express Entry candidates receiving nomination in BC PNP will be awarded an additional 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, thereby guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in a subsequent federal Express Entry draw. For applying in the Express Entry BC or skills immigration categories, the candidate must have a profile through the B.C.’s online portal and should have registered under Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

So far the province has issued a total of 4,438 invitations through its various Provincial Nominee Program(PNP) streams.
