About the BC PNP
British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) categories are managed under BC’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). In order to apply via the SIRS, qualifying candidates must first register an account. Applicants are assessed and given a ranking based on criteria such as level of schooling, work experience, English language proficiency and job location. Candidates who succeed in receiving the nomination will receive an additional 600 CRS points, which, in effect, guarantee them an Invitation to Apply from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
