India’s national carrier Air India has stated that it will operate additional flights between India and Canada from October 25 to March 27, 2021, amid increased demand for flights to Canada. The flight reservations have begun. In order to reserve their tickets, the flyers may use the airline’s official website, booking offices, call centres or travel agents to book their flights, respectively.
Owing to the coronavirus pandemic, scheduled international passenger flights had been suspended in India since March 23, 2020. However, special international flights were authorized since July 2020 under the bilateral air bubble pacts with 18 countries. These include Japan, US, UK, Germany, France, UAE, Maldives, Ukraine, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Qatar, Iraq, Oman, Bhutan, Kenya, Bangladesh, and Canada.

Stranded Canadian nationals/residents and foreigners with a valid Canadian visa eligible to enter Canada
Indian nationals with valid visas eligible to enter Canada
Seamen of foreign nationalities & Seamen holding Indian passports would be allowed, subject to the authorization by the Ministry of Shipping
From Canada to India:
Stranded Indian nationals
All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders holding Canadian passports
Foreigners (including diplomats) eligible to enter India as per the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated June 30, 2020
Air Bubble is a bilateral air corridor that is being established between different countries to ease travel restrictions in the context of travel bans imposed by various countries due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
