Ontario PNP (EE French-speaking Category) | Total 242 Candidates Invited

On this January 9th, the province of Ontario has conducted its first Express Entry aligned French-speaking candidates’ invitation round. A total of 242 Notification of Interest (NOIs) were issued in this draw round, and to have qualified, the candidate must have ensured:

  1. An active Express Entry profile in the Express Entry pool of eligible candidates between January 9, 2019 and January 9, 2020; AND
  2. A minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 in French as well as a minimum CLB level of 6 in English.

So far, the province has issued a total of 549 FSSW NOIs in 2019, and there is no minimum points requirement for this specific stream.

 

What are the requirements for candidate to be eligible in the FSSW Stream?

To qualify for the FSSW stream, prospective candidates must ensure that:

  • They have a valid Express Entry profile in the Express Entry selection system managed by the Federal government of Canada;
  • They have a minimum of 1 year of skilled work experience, or, full time equivalent work experience under NOC occupation levels 0, A, or B;
  • Minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 in French (to be substantiated by writing the TEF exam), AND, a minimum CLB level of 6 in English (to be substantiated by writing the TEF exam);
  • Canadian equivalent diploma, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or Doctorate;
  • A genuine intent to reside in the province of Ontario
