Express Entry Draw 112

In the last Express Entry draw that took place on March 6, 2019, the CRS score of lowest ranked candidate invited was 454. That is, there has been a drop of 3 points compared to the previous draw that happened on February 20, 2019.

A total of 3,350 invitations were issued on this 112th Express Entry draw that took place on March 6, 2019. The duration between the previous draw and the current draw is less compared to the duration between the previous 2 Express Entry rounds of invitations, which was 19 calendar days.

The decrease in Express Entry CRS draw points is certainly a beacon of hope to all prospective Canada aspirants. In the previous Express Entry draw news, we had predicted an imminent ‘decreasing trend’ in the CRS draw scores, and the context for this prediction was derived from the multi-year immigration target estimate which IRCC is required to meet by the end of the current calendar year.

Below are the draw statistics of the 112th Express Entry draw:

Number of Invitations issued: 3,350

Date and time of the draw: March 6, 2019 at 14:56:03 (UTC)

CRS score of the lowest ranked candidate: 454

Tie-break rule used in this draw: February 11, 2019 at 17:21:27 (UTC)

This means that all Express Entry profiles that were active in the pool with a minimum CRS score equal to or greater than 454, and which entered the pool at (or before) the lock-score (tie-break) timestamp were considered while the Federal Government of Canada issued Invitation to Apply (ITAs) this time.

Express Entry is a selection system, through which the Federal government of Canada (IRCC) selects candidates for economic immigration to Canada through three programs – Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC), Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) – as well as a portion of Provincial Nominations (enhanced nominations).
