In the last Express Entry draw that took place on April 3, 2019, the CRS score of lowest ranked candidate invited was 451. That is, there has been a drop of 1 point compared to the previous draw that happened on March 20, 2019, and a total drop of 6 points compared to the draw that happened on February 20, 2019.
A total of 3,350 invitations were issued on this 114th Express Entry draw that took place on April 3, 2019. The total intake volume of 3,350 candidates seems to remain unaltered in almost all the recent Express Entry draws.
Clearly, the fact that the Cut-off CRS score of the last invited candidate is decreasing (though gently) gives hope to the many Canada immigration aspirants (individuals and their family members) who are waiting in the Express Entry pool of eligibility candidates. A minimum pass score of 67 points is required out of the total score of 100 points in the Federal 6 Selection Factors to qualify for Express Entry aligned programs. These include the Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC), the Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
Below are the draw statistics of the 114th Express Entry draw:
Number of Invitations issued: 3,350
Date and time of the draw: April 3, 2019 at 17:37:40 (UTC)
CRS score of the lowest ranked candidate: 451
Tie-break rule used in this draw: January 9, 2019 at 07:35:09 (UTC)
This means that all Express Entry profiles that were active in the pool with a minimum CRS score equal to or greater than 451, and which entered the pool at (or before) the lock-score (tie-break) timestamp were considered while the Federal Government of Canada issued Invitation to Apply (ITAs) this time.
Express Entry is a selection system, through which the Federal government of Canada (IRCC) selects candidates for economic immigration to Canada through three programs – Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC), Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) – as well as a portion of Provincial Nominations (enhanced nominations).
