In the last Express Entry draw that took place on 4 September 2019, the CRS score of lowest ranked candidate invited was 463. There has been an increase of 6 CRS points compared to the previous Express Entry draw that was conducted on 20 August 2019. A total of 3,600 invitations were issued on this 125th Express Entry draw. The total number of invitations issued this time remains the same as it was in the previous two Express Entry draws that happened on August 20, 2019, and August 12, 2019, respectively.

Seasoned Canadian immigration consultants and experienced lawyers comment that, though the Express Entry Cut-off CRS scores are alternating in the range of a few points, the net (overall or resultant) trend shows a downward inclination. This is true in the light of the 3,40,000-immigrant intake target of Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in the current year 2019. This multi-year immigration target to Canada was announced by the government of Canada for the years 2018-20.

This assertion from well reputed and senior Canadian immigration consultants and lawyers gives hope to thousands of skilled Canada migration aspirants all over the world.

This means that if you are a skilled professional looking to immigrate to Canada, time is of the essence for you. A minimum pass score of 67 points is required out of the total score of 100 points in the Federal 6 Selection Factors to qualify for Express Entry aligned programs. These include the Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC), the Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Below are the draw statistics of the 125th Express Entry draw:

Number of Invitations issued: 3,600

Date and time of the drawSeptember 4, 2019 at 13:36:34 at 11:51:30 (UTC)

CRS score of the lowest ranked candidate: 463

Tie-break rule used in this draw: August 23, 2019 at 13:33:34 (UTC)

This means that all Express Entry profiles that were active in the pool with a minimum CRS score equal to or greater than 463, and which entered the pool at (or before) the lock-score (tie-break) timestamp were considered while the Federal Government of Canada issued Invitation to Apply (ITAs) this time.

Express Entry is a selection system, through which the Federal government of Canada (IRCC) selects candidates for economic immigration to Canada through three programs – Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC), Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) – as well as a portion of Provincial Nominations (enhanced nominations).
