In the 107^th Express Entry draw that took place this December 19^th, the CRS score dropped from the usual 440 range to 439.

A total of 3,900 invitations were issued on the 107^th Express Entry draw that took place on December 19^th 2018. The steep CRS drop (from 449 to 445; and again from 445 to 439) is significant, and in one way could be interpreted as the effort being made by IRCC to meet its 3-year immigration target spanning from 2018 to 2020. Whilst there are speculations that the CRS score may drop further, this is also dependent on the number of high-ranking candidate profiles that may enter the Express Entry pool in the interim. The fact that the CRS score has come below 440 is highly encouraging for potential aspirants because this was not the situation in the majority of EE draws that happened this year. The total number of invitations issued in Express Entry draws tend to remain high at a staggering 3,900.
