The second express entry draw of July 25, 2018 has resulted in the issuance of a total of 3,750 invitations. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off threshold for this draw was 441 points, which is one point less that the previous 2 draws.
The government had revealed its multi-year immigration target for 2018-2020 on November last year, intending to increase the total number of intakes through the express entry selection system. Accordingly, the total intake through the Federal Skilled Workers Class (FSWC), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) is estimated to be around 250,000 over the next three years, and 184,000 or so immigrants will be invited to apply through the various Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) by 2020.

Note: The draw held on 30 May 2018 was program-specific. Therefore, the number of invitations is lower than the usual.
