Dr. Joe Greenholtz is the director of Owlspriority Immigration. As a member in good standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC-CRCIC) he is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) authorized by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to represent you in all matters related to Canadian immigration and Citizenship.
Dr. Joe is a former Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC-CRCIC), and was also as Chair of ICCRC-CRCIC’s Governance and Nomination Committee for three years. He is currently a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC-ACCPI), a mentor for new RCICs, and a Commissioner of Oaths for Quebec.
Prior to becoming a Canadian immigration consultant, Joe was a Canadian visa officer with postings in New York, New Delhi, and Tokyo. Fluent in English, French, and Japanese, Dr. Joe has extensive international experience and knows the immigration process from both sides. Dr. Joe’s competitive knowledge and understanding of the Canadian immigration law and regulations has helped numerous families and individuals all over the world make Canada their home.
Outside of his activities as an RCIC, Dr. Joe is an adjunct Professor of Education in the Department of Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He taught intercultural communication in both Canada and Japan for many years and has an extensive list of publications and presentations in cross-cultural communication and acculturation.
Dr. Joe is heavily involved in his community activities, serving as President of STEPS Forward, the BC Initiative for Inclusive Post-Secondary Education (BC-IPSE) and an active member of the Geriatric Hockey League.
